Dental assistant

Sajoosmiles is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our fee-for-service prosthodontic team based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is central to supporting excellent patient care and providing clinical chairside assistance in a professional, ethical, and patient-focused environment.

Dental assistant

Provide chairside assistance to the prosthodontist during dental procedures

Prepare and maintain treatment rooms in accordance with infection control protocols

Take dental X-rays and assist with medical imaging as required

Accurately record patient assessments and maintain comprehensive dental charts

Ensure patient comfort and support throughout visits, addressing questions and concerns

Perform dental sterilization procedures and maintain a safe, sanitary environment

Operate dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft) for patient management and documentation

Collaborate effectively with the clinical team to enhance patient care

full-time $25 - $30 per hour

Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Weekends: Closed

Minimum of 1 year dental assisting experience

Chairside assisting skills specific to prosthodontic procedures

Proficiency with dental software (Eaglesoft preferred)

Current CPR certification

Strong knowledge of infection control and dental sterilization protocols

Experience with dental X-ray and medical imaging equipment

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Experience with pediatric dental care

Familiarity with operating digital medical imaging equipment
