We are seeking a talented and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic team and play a key role in providing high-quality dental care.

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, and bridges.
Take X-rays accurately.
Perform coronal polishing, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Take impressions and fabricate temporary restorations.
Provide patient education and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Manage dental materials and ensure proper inventory levels.
Support front office with scheduling and patient communication as needed.

full-time $22 - $27 per hour

Monday through Thursday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Friday 8 AM to 12 PM
No Saturdays, 40 hours per week

• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant

Requirements:
Valid EFDA certification.
Proven experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients and team members.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus.
