Make a difference in students’ lives by providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive, engaging school setting located near New Castle, DE. As a valued member of the educational community, you’ll work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth and communication skills. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and active state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology in Delaware (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, though strong clinical skills with children will be considered
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments and therapy to students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with educators and parents
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and district standards
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations
  • Stay updated on best practices and continuing education relevant to school-based SLP services
