Looking to make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist? A rewarding part-time contract opportunity is available near Wilmington, DE for the 2026/2027 school year, running from approximately late August through mid-June. This position offers a flexible schedule of 1 to 3 days per week, with exact days based on enrollment needs. Serving students in grades 8-12, you'll play a vital role in helping students achieve their communication goals.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in school-based settings, including conducting evaluations, writing reports, attending IEP meetings, and setting meaningful benchmarks. This role emphasizes collaboration with educators and families to develop tailored student support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Delaware
  • DE certification required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or strong Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates
  • School-based SLP experience, especially with evaluating students and participating in IEP teams
  • Familiarity with pediatric and adolescent populations (grades 8-12)
  • Teletherapy experience is a plus; experienced remote therapists are welcome to apply

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations
  • Lead reviews for 60-day IEPs
  • Set and monitor student benchmarks
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute expert input for student growth
  • Provide high-quality intervention and support for a diverse caseload
