Step into a rewarding pediatric-focused setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working full-time on site near Newark, DE. This opportunity is ideal for highly motivated travel professionals who are dedicated to supporting students’ communication development and helping them thrive in school environments. You'll provide essential speech and language services to children, working collaboratively with educators and families to create meaningful progress for each student.
Key Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in educational settings
Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy documentation
Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat various speech and language disorders
Excellent communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for students
Deliver direct therapy services to address speech, language, and communication challenges
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists on educational teams
Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
Monitor student progress and participate in IEP meetings
Support and empower students in both individual and group therapy formats
