Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (0700–1930) | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician
• Apply the nursing process to collaborate with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care in accordance with standards of nursing practice and departmental policies
• Maintain knowledge of current principles, theories, methods, and techniques relevant to medical-surgical and telemetry nursing practice
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings as part of ongoing patient assessment and care

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact RN License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Stroke and Telemetry certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry clinical specialty preferred
