Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Full-Time | Weekends and holidays required per department guidelines

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting during night shift hours
• Manage post-operative open-heart recovery patients, ensuring close monitoring and timely intervention
• Operate and manage mechanical circulatory support devices including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to unit float policies, including weekend and holiday coverage as required by department guidelines
• Complete all required onboarding learning modules prior to the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of CVICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
• Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
• Valid driver's license required to verify residency
• Completed CVICU skills checklist within the last 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with direct open-heart recovery and mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, balloon pumps)
