Responsibilities Must successfully pass a background check accepted by the Board of Education. The school nurse shall have a sincere desire to work with others in a caring and diplomatic manner and exhibit excellent communication skills. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to process and maintain paperwork. Physical requirements for the position include the ability to stay on your feet for an extended period of time during the school day and to lift 50 pounds or more. The school nurse must be able to work with students, faculty, and the general public in an efficient manner. Qualifications Current licensure in the State of Missouri as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN). Current CPR and AED certification. Experience in a school environment preferred. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Pay Substitute Nurses are paid an hourly rate of $19.00 on a bi-weekly pay schedule. #J-18808-Ljbffr
