WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We're searching for a full-time Art Director with a minimum of three years’ experience working in the fast-paced advertising industry. Someone who’s conceptual, versatile, strategic, and collaborative. Someone motivated by the opportunity to generate fresh, memorable campaign ideas–with the design and production know-how to bring them to life across multiple channels including video, digital display, social, print, brand identity systems, websites and more. This Art Director needs to excel creatively, deliver strategically, and present with clarity and poise. We’re big on teamwork here, so the best fit will be someone who’s ready to learn, grow and contribute, willing to work on projects large and small, and up for creating memorable work with some really fun people. RESPONSIBILITIES Exceptional concepting skills Partner with copywriters, creative directors, strategists, and account teams to generate fresh campaign ideas, themes, and visual directions Help shape the "big idea" behind a campaign Build mood boards, rough layouts, presentation concepts and presentation decks Lead photo and video shoots–direct photographers, videographers, illustrators, and designers Ensure consistent quality across all deliverables Present work directly to clients Manage and contribute to a variety of projects Adhere to internal processes, budgets, and timelines QUALIFICATIONS In addition to a bachelor's degree in graphic design and a minimum of three years’ experience in an advertising agency environment, Hoffman York Art Directors must also possess the following: Exceptional concepting skills Exceptional art direction/design skills Ability to interpret a creative brief and adapt concepts to a variety of platforms/mediums Proficient with the Adobe Suite of creative software Proficient at generating images and video using AI Proficient with Figma Professional time and project management skills COMPENSATION & BENEFITS We offer a fun, inclusive agency culture, competitive salary, travel perks, vacation, and comprehensive benefits package.
