About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead the development of AI products for the insurance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the technical vision, architecture direction, and organizational structure for the engineering team. This role requires a leader with a strong technical background, a proven track record in building and scaling high-performing engineering organizations, and a deep understanding of modern AI tooling, including LLMs and agentic development patterns. The VP of Engineering will work closely with the product team to execute the product roadmap, ensure the team is using the latest AI technologies effectively, and maintain a culture of high-quality, continuous delivery. Candidates for the VP of Engineering position at the company should have 10-15 years' of experience leading technical teams, with a significant tenure at the VP level or equivalent. The role demands a leader with a high EQ, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a background in software engineering, machine learning, and data, and be adept at hiring and developing top engineering talent. Experience in cloud infrastructure, particularly GCP or AWS, is essential.
