Account Manager – Sales

Industry: Aviation-Parts Distribution
Location: Hawthorne, CA
Starting Compensation: $55,000–$70,000 base + year-end bonuses

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, committed Account Manager with a strong sales mindset to join our team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who wants to learn the business, build relationships, and ultimately take ownership of their own book of business.

Previous sales experience is helpful, but not required . Many successful representatives start with little or no sales experience. We provide the training and support needed to learn the industry, develop sales skills, and become confident managing a desk independently.

The learning curve can be gradual, particularly during the first few months. We are looking for someone who is patient, dependable, motivated to learn, and interested in building a long-term career with the company—not someone expecting immediate results.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
• Manage your own customer accounts and day-to-day responsibilities
• Become the primary point of contact and "face of the business" for your customers
• Follow up consistently with customers and prospects
• Manage pricing, orders, quotes, and account details
• Work extensively with Excel spreadsheets and other business information
• Take increasing ownership of your desk as you become established in the role
• Comfortable navigating and operating company’s CRM

Training & Growth

The first few months will involve a significant learning curve as you become familiar with our industry, customers, processes, and sales approach. We don't expect you to come in "guns blazing" on day one.

As you gain experience and confidence, you'll be given increasing responsibility and a long leash to manage your own desk . The goal is for you to become an independent Account Manager who can effectively manage your customers, identify opportunities, and drive your own results.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $55,000–$70,000, depending on experience and qualifications
• Year-end bonuses
• Year-end profit-sharing
• Earning potential up to $250,000+
