Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed weekly, every third weekend and every other holiday required

Candidate Pay Rate: $58.10 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver total nursing care to emergency department patients with skill and compassion
• Educate patients and their families so they feel informed and supported every step of the way
• Lead by example, collaborating with ancillary nursing staff and the full patient care team
• Uphold professional nursing practice standards in every clinical interaction
• Recognize each patient as a unique individual and set mutual care goals together
• Protect patient rights and privacy while delivering quality nursing care
• Stay accountable to ethical and professional standards, including the ANA Code for Nurses
• Comply with regulatory standards from agencies such as AOA, HCFA and MIOSHA

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Michigan
• At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• PALS certification required, with ENPC accepted as a substitute
• A genuine commitment to patient centered care and family teaching
• Strong clinical judgment and the confidence to act decisively in fast paced moments
• A collaborative spirit and a passion for teamwork
