AV Coordinator

AV Coordinator - River Glen Church - Naperville, IL Status: Part-time, hourly (average of 4 hrs/wk) Pay rate: $30 to $50/Hour Job summary The Audio-Visual Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of A/V needs for River Glen Presbyterian Church, including Sunday morning worship, streaming, rehearsals, and other services and special events as needed. Oversee the setup of AV needs for RGPC services including Sunday church service, weddings, funerals, and special services or events. Set up AV equipment (mics, monitors, AV computer, sound board, streaming, etc.) and portable AV equipment for services/events that take place outside of the Worship Center. Prepare and edit audio & visual files to be included in presentations and program files for Sunday services, weddings, funerals, etc. Manage backgrounds and image files and stream files. Manage presentation software and preparation of programs including audio and video files. Manage live streaming during services to RGPC YouTube Channel. Rehearsal sound checks Sound checks and audio leveling for services – Sunday mornings before worship Service or prescheduled times for other events. Live stream testing for services including validation of locations, cameras, and presets. Run and manage all AV during the services and events with the help of AV volunteers. Secure AV equipment used during services and events. Live Stream Management: Manage the RGPC YouTube Channel regarding services such as Sunday worship services, weddings, funerals, or other events from RGPC. Manage and edit post-live stream services including: Video details: Titles, descriptions, thumbnails, playlists, etc. Channel customization: Video spotlight, featured sections, etc. AV Equipment Management: Manage AV equipment including general maintenance & cleaning, updates, hardware & software management. Equipment includes but is not limited to the following: Soundboards, mics, cables, digital and wireless receivers, distribution amplifiers, routers, transmitters, DVD players, computers, hearing aid devices, monitors, speakers, projectors, video screens Software includes but is not limited to the following: SongShow Plus Video and Audio Editing solutions Microsoft Office Google Drive Manage AV Ministry Team Recruit and train volunteers for ongoing service in AV Manage the scheduling of AV Volunteers for services and events. Minimum Qualifications: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Experience with audio and video production Experience and knowledge in music Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a member of a team Experience managing projects Demonstrates skills and techniques to recognize problems and apply timely and appropriate corrective actions Ability to think clearly under pressure and follow-through to ensure effective resolution Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions based on the vision and values of RGPC #J-18808-Ljbffr Chicagopresbytery
