Anesthesia Technician

Role: Anesthesia Technician Responsibilities: Support anesthesia and nursing teams in surgical and procedural areas by performing patient-care, safety, and technical duties. Respond to patient-specific needs including blood, medications, supplies, and equipment during procedures. Ensure proper identification and administration of blood products and medications. Operate surgical equipment under supervision, stock and prepare ORs and pre/post rooms, and maintain cleanliness and infection control. Assist in emergency response teams and ensure safety equipment is operational. Help with patient intake tasks such as measuring vital signs and attaching monitoring devices. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED required; clinical or hospital experience preferred. Proficiency in English, computer skills, and ability to work independently and in teams essential. Prefer experience in surgical settings, direct patient care, and knowledge of medical terminology. Must demonstrate strong problem-solving, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift over 20 lbs., stand long periods, and perform physical tasks. Certifications: BLS certification or ability to obtain within six months. Valid driver\'s license and knowledge of Microsoft systems preferred.
