Join Our Dynamic Surgical Team - Nights Job Description: - Are you an experienced nurse looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced Surgical Unit? - We are seeking passionate candidates to join us for night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). - Experience a unique blend of adult and pediatric care in a collaborative environment. - Minimum requirements include: - Current WI License - NIHSS certification - CPR / BLS certification - Responsibilities include: - Utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members. - Administering prescribed medications and treatments in line with approved nursing techniques and standards of care. - Documenting patient care according to established standards. - Developing and executing individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policies. - Participating in performance improvement activities within the department or unit. - Providing clinical expertise and guidance across units/departments to support patients' longitudinal care plans. - Employing critical thinking in regard to patient safety and experience, while appropriately escalating issues as needed. - Work commitment includes: - Every other weekend and holiday availability. - 12-hour night shifts with a chance to float to other units if necessary.
