Communications Specialist

Under the guidance of the Sr. Communications & Events Manager, execute Bakery communications strategies that build trust, engagement, and confidence across the Bakery Owner network. Support the management and execution of day-to-day Bakery communications. Create, edit, and distribute operationally focused communications that effectively translate complex business information into clear, actionable messaging. Manage and maintain communication channels and platforms, including digital communication tools, newsletters, surveys, intranet content, and other communication assets. Develop communication plans and supporting content for cross-functional initiatives and organizational priorities. Support survey communications including survey launches, reminders, participation campaigns, results summaries, and follow-up communications. Create, edit, and coordinate video communications, including scripting, storyboarding, light production, editing, and publishing. Design and build communication assets using presentation, design, and digital communication tools, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement. Monitor communication performance metrics and leverage analytics to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Maintain digital archives and ensure proper organization and governance of communication materials. Ensure all communications align with Nothing Bundt Cakes brand standards, voice, and messaging guidelines. Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-departmental stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop impactful communications. Support special projects, events, and other communications initiatives as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Excellent written, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills. Experience developing and executing digital communications across multiple channels. Experience creating visual and video content, including basic design and video editing. Familiarity with survey communications, engagement campaigns, and feedback programs. Ability to analyze communication performance and use data to drive improvements. Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail. Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and communications, design, and content management tools. Education/Certifications and Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 3-5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing communications, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in digital communications, content development, and communication campaign execution. Experience creating operational communications for field, franchise, retail, hospitality, or multi-unit organizations strongly preferred. Experience with communication analytics, survey platforms, and audience measurement tools preferred. Experience within a franchise system highly preferred. Food, retail, hospitality, or restaurant industry experience preferred. Experience with video production/editing and visual content creation preferred. Why Nothing Bundt Cakes?
