Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adults in a critical care float pool, with ability to float to ED (holds), ICU, IMCU, and MS as needed
- Monitor patients’ hemodynamics, respiratory status, and neurological assessments; administer medications and therapies per physician orders
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans; document in the electronic medical record (Epic)
- Manage complex patients (e.g., strokes, sepsis, neuro interventions, cardiogenic shock) in a fast-paced environment
- Safely operate and respond to specialty equipment and interventions (e.g., IABP, CRRT, ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, targeted temperature management)
- Maintain patient safety and quality of care, recognizing changes in condition and initiating appropriate interventions

Requirements
- Active New York RN license required at time of submission; Nursys license verification with all active RN licenses
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH required
- 2+ years ICU experience
- Ability to float to multiple units, including ED, ICU, IMCU, and MS
- EMR experience, preferably Epic
- RTO (time-off) requests must be included at submission

Education
- Education requirements aligned with RN licensure and ICU experience as noted above
