Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED)

Position Summary $30K Commitment Incentive Responsibilities Provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing–Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, and other relevant professional standards, alongside ECU Health policies and procedures. Coordinate and deliver nursing care, including assessment data collection, identification of expected outcomes, and development of a care plan in collaboration with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team members. Identify and implement interventions, evaluate progress toward outcomes, and document the process. Promote and evaluate the effective functioning of the health‑care team. Collaborate with team members to meet patient/family needs throughout the episode of care and delegate tasks as governed by the NC Nurse Practice Act. Minimum Requirements Diploma in Nursing, Associate’s in Nursing, or higher. Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state. AHA Basic Life Support certification. Other Information Location/Department: ECU Health Duplin (Kenansville, NC) – Emergency Department.
