Clinical Consultant, MCS - East Bay, CA

Abbott seeks a Clinical Consultant for its Heart Failure division in the East Bay area. The role involves providing clinical support to assigned territory customers, delivering product training, attending implant procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve clinical outcomes and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary clinical contact for assigned territory customers and provide technical support
- Train and educate customers on Abbott products using approved materials and instructions
- Attend implant procedures to deliver clinical support and ensure proper product use
- Design, develop, and implement quality educational programs tailored to customer needs
- Maintain administrative records including monthly reports, expense reporting, and clinical documentation
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in nursing or medical discipline; graduate degree desirable
- 3–5 years heart failure experience or equivalent preferred
- Background in nursing, circulatory support, or cardiology
- MCS (mechanical circulatory support) experience highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy and ability to work under stress
Compensation: $68,000–$136,000 base
