Bankruptcy Attorney

A highly respected, full-service law firm with a long-standing presence in the Dallas–Fort Worth legal market is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join its growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring matters while collaborating with experienced attorneys across a broad range of practice areas. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage matters independently while working as part of a collaborative team. Responsibilities Represent debtors, creditors, trustees, and other parties in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Handle Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and/or Chapter 13 matters, depending on experience. Advise clients on bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, and insolvency-related issues. Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, bankruptcy petitions, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients. Manage discovery, negotiations, hearings, and other litigation-related matters. Represent clients in bankruptcy court and other related proceedings. Work closely with attorneys and professionals across the firm on complex matters. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Texas. 3+ years of bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, or related experience. Strong knowledge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code and bankruptcy procedure. Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively. Strong client-service orientation and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience representing debtors, creditors, financial institutions, trustees, or other bankruptcy stakeholders. Experience with Chapter 11 reorganizations and complex commercial bankruptcy matters. Experience with bankruptcy litigation, contested matters, and adversary proceedings. Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000–$200,000 plus bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Final compensation will be based on experience, technical expertise, education, and overall qualifications.
