Food RunnerThe Galt House Hotel is currently hiring for a Food Runner for our new restaurant, Swizzle. Swizzle, is perched 25 stories above River Road, the space has long been a destination for Louisville residents' most special moments.ResponsibilitiesAssists the server to consistently deliver a quality experience for guestsPrepare food stations and maintaining organized and clean guest tablesEnsure that food safety guidelines are adhered to at all timesServing food and drink to guests at the direction of the serverClean, clear, and reset tables in preparation for arriving guestsActing as a connection between front-of-house and back-of-house when necessaryHandling guest concerns and complaints, notifying server and manager when necessaryOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school education or EquivalentMust be of legal age to serve alcoholSelf-motivated and customer service orientedStrong oral and written communication skillsClean and professional appearanceAdept in following food safety practicesDetail orientedAbility to work on your feet for at least 8 hours at a time and lift at least 60 lbsTeam orientedAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
