Stockroom Attendant

Stockroom AttendantReporting to the Stockroom/MRO Supervisor, the Stockroom Assistant will support Stockroom and Production control functions as well as provide customer support to Linamar employees and suppliers.Responsibilities:Receive deliveries and put stockroom items away in the proper location.Verify packing slip for the amount shipped.Conduct cycle counting, stockroom transactions utilizing the Plex system, and check e-mail daily.Maintain shipping dock cleanliness.Drive mobile equipment to stage items and put them away.Other Duties as assigned.Maintain area cleanliness.Academic/Educational Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Required Skills/Experience:2+ years of stockroom experience.Ability to complete required paperwork.Possess problem solving abilities.Possess mechanical aptitude and ability to understand the use of manufacturing inventory items.Ability to communicate effectively.Ability to obtain mobile equipment certification.Possess strong organizational skills.Ability to utilize a computer in a Windows environment.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.What Linamar Has to Offer:Competitive CompensationEmployee Benefits package includes but not limited to, Drug, Dental & Vision etc.Opportunities for career advancement.Sustainability CouncilCommunity based outreach supporting both local and global initiatives and charities.Discounts for local vendors and events, including auto supplier discounts.About Us:Linamar Corporation is a Canadian-founded global manufacturer, renowned for its advanced engineering and innovative product development across diverse industries and markets.
