Business Development Representative

Location: Midland, TX

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 base + bonus + vehicle allowance

AGF Talent is conducting a search on behalf of a well-established client with deep roots in the oil and gas industry. Our client is looking for an upbeat, high-integrity Business Development Representative to reignite relationships across the Permian Basin, breathe new life into accounts that have gone quiet, and open doors to new business along the way.

This isn't a desk job. It's a boots-on-the-ground, PPE-on, out-on-location kind of role for someone who genuinely enjoys being around people, showing up in person, and doing right by the customer every time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Traveling throughout the Permian Basin to meet face-to-face with operators and reconnect with past customers, rekindling relationships that have gone quiet
• Rebuilding trust and reactivating relationships to bring lapsed business back to life
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities as you build your territory
• Spending real time on site with operators, wearing PPE and getting hands-on with the day-to-day of the field
• Representing our client with honesty, consistency, and a positive attitude that makes people want to work with you again

What You Bring

• A naturally upbeat, personable presence, people remember you after one conversation
• Strong ethics and integrity, you do what you say you'll do, every time
• Proven experience building real, in-person relationships (sales background welcome but not required)
• A genuine willingness to grind: PPE on, boots in the dirt, comfortable being on location with operators day after day
• Self-starter mentality and strong time management (you'll largely run your own schedule on the road)
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the Permian Basin
• Preferred: existing relationships and network within the oil and gas industry
