Nurse AideThe Nurse Aide will be responsible for providing basic care to patients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others.ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and groomingMonitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staffHelp patients with mobility and transfer to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairsServe meals and assist with feeding as neededMaintain a clean and safe environment for patientsProvide emotional support and companionship to patientsDocument patient care activities and report any concerns to the nursing staffRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentAbility to utilize Microsoft products at an intermediate levelCompassionate and patient-focused approach to careAbility to lift and move patients as neededPhysical and Sensory RequirementsConsiderable physical activity:Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet.Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.Bending and/or stooping for more than one (1) hour at a time.
