Accounts Payable Manager

Our client is hiring for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. This role will lead and oversee day?to?day AP operations in a fast?paced, fully onsite environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely payment processing while managing and developing the AP team.


Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Lead, mentor, and manage the AP team, including workload distribution, training, and performance support
• Review and approve invoices, payment runs, and exception items in accordance with internal controls
• Serve as the primary escalation point for vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal control standards
• Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership on month?end close, reconciliations, and reporting
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, efficiency, and accuracy
• Maintain accurate vendor records and support audits as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4 years of accounts payable experience, including people management or team leadership
• Strong knowledge of full?cycle AP processes and internal controls
• Experience working in a high?volume, deadline?driven environment
• Proficiency with accounting systems and strong Excel skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem?solving abilities
• Ability to work fully onsite and collaborate cross?functionally
