Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Traveler

Location: Colorado

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Working 4-10's with a rotating call schedule.

Job Description: We are seeking a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Traveler to join our Operating Room team. The facility is a Level III trauma center with four state-of-the-art surgical suites. The CST will work with a variety of specialties including Robotics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Ear/Nose/Throat, Plastics, Urology, and Trauma.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams by preparing operating rooms and maintaining sterile environments.
• Ensure necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available for procedures.
• Assist during surgeries, providing support as directed by surgeons and registered nurses.
• Monitor and maintain the condition of surgical instruments and equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Colorado Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) License with DORA.
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association.
• Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program.
• Certification in Surgical Technology from the NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT.
• Experience in Orthopedics, total joints, Neuro/Spine, Robotics, Urology, GYN, ENT, and Plastics required.
