Registered Nurse - Med/Surg/Tele Location Southampton, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3x12 hour shifts, 7A - 7:30P Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Med/Surg/Tele unit, including coordination of care with healthcare team members and direct patient care responsibilities. The role requires adherence to safety and infection control protocols, as well as effective communication with patients and families. Responsibilities Assess patients' conditions and nursing needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications and provide direct patient care. Maintain a clean and safe environment through effective infection control practices. Document patient care and education in medical records. Communicate patient condition changes to charge nurse/clinician. Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to the nursing profession's advancement. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg/Tele nursing. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Current RN license in the applicable state.
