Intern - Social Media Coordinator

The Concept Agency | Boca Raton, FL — hybrid | Part-time, ~20 hours/week

The Concept Agency is a boutique DTC growth marketing agency working with beauty, wellness, skincare, fragrance, jewelry, and lifestyle brands. We handle social, email, branding, and web for founders who care about their brands as much as we do. Small team, real client work, no fetching coffee.

You'll own the day-to-day running of our clients' social accounts: scheduling and publishing, writing captions in each brand's voice, handling engagement and community management, and keeping profiles current. You'll also make edits and graphics in Canva, and, because you'll be local, you'll come along to shoots around Boca and help on set.

You'll report to our Project Manager and work day to day with our social media and content team, including on shoot days. This is real client work on real brands from your first week.

• Build and maintain content calendars for assigned client accounts.
• Schedule and publish posts, Reels and Stories across Instagram, TikTok and other client platforms.
• Keep the calendar accurate when plans change — and flag conflicts or gaps before they become a problem.
• Make sure every post goes out with the right caption, tags, links and timing.
  

• Write captions in each client's brand voice — every brand on our roster sounds different, and you'll learn to switch between them.
• Draft Story copy, link-in-bio text, and short-form captions for Reels and TikToks.
• Proofread everything before it goes live.
  

• Manage day-to-day engagement on client accounts — replying to comments and DMs, interacting with followers, resharing community content and Stories.
• Engage proactively with relevant accounts, hashtags and communities to grow reach.
• Flag anything that needs a human decision - a complaint, a press enquiry, a partnership request — rather than answering it yourself.
• Keep a simple log of recurring questions and themes so we can feed it back into strategy.
  

• Keep client bios, links, highlights, pinned posts and business profiles current and on-brand.
• Update seasonal or campaign-specific profile assets as launches come and go.
• Spot and report anything broken — dead links, wrong hours, outdated offers.
  

• Make edits, resizes and adaptations to existing graphics and templates.
• Create social graphics, Story frames and simple assets from each client's brand guidelines.
• Build and maintain client boards, mood boards and monthly content boards.
• Keep brand kits and template files organized so the team can find what they need.
  

• Join local shoots around Boca Raton and the surrounding area — helping with setup, props, products, wardrobe and keeping the shot list on track.
• Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video on set.
• Help organize, rename and file footage and stills after each shoot so nothing gets lost.
  

• Cut and assemble short-form video for Reels and TikToks from existing footage.
• Add captions, trending audio, and simple transitions.
  

• Based in Boca Raton or close enough to get to local shoots easily. This one matters — part of the role is being on set.
• Genuinely fluent on Instagram and TikTok. Bonus for other platforms like Youtube, Pinterest etc. 
• You know what a good Reel looks like, you notice trends early, and you can tell when a format has had its day.
• Confident in Canva. You should be able to resize, adapt and build from a template without hand-holding, and have an eye for when something looks off-brand.
• A good writer. Captions are harder than they look, and you'll be writing in several different brand voices.
• Organized and dependable with a calendar. Posts go out on time because you made sure they did.
• Comfortable talking to strangers online on a brand's behalf, with good instincts about tone.
• Current student or recent graduate, or someone building a career in social — we care more about how you work than what you studied.
  

• Video editing in CapCut, Premiere or similar.
• Photography or on-set experience.
• Experience using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to speed up drafting and research 
• Familiarity with Loomly, Later, or any scheduling platform.
• An interest in beauty, wellness, skincare or lifestyle brands.
• Your own social accounts, or accounts you've run for someone else, that you're proud of.
  

• Type: part-time internship, approximately 20 hours per week.
• Term: three months, with the possibility of extending to a full-time role.
• Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour
• Location: hybrid, mostly remote, with local shoots and occasional in-person days around Boca Raton.
• Start date: as soon as possible.
• Reports to: Project Manager. Works day to day with our social media and content team.
