School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

• 35-37.5 hours per week for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year with a high likelihood of extension into the 2026-2027 school year!

Compensation:

• Starting at $75 per hour (DOE)

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-12 school district in the San Jacinto area for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. This is a full-time onsite position serving students across multiple school sites within the district.

The SLP will work collaboratively with school teams to support students' communication needs, academic access, and social participation in the educational setting.

The ideal candidate is a student-centered clinician with strong school-based skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K-12 students

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and reassessments

• Develop goals, accommodations, and service recommendations as part of the IEP process

• Address articulation, phonology, expressive and receptive language, fluency, voice, pragmatic language, and functional communication needs

• Support student access to curriculum and classroom participation

• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers

• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation, progress reports, and service logs

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

• Travel between assigned school sites within the district, as needed

• Support implementation of classroom strategies, accommodations, and communication supports

Requirements:

• Active California Speech-Language Pathologist license

• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred (or Clinical Fellowship candidates considered, if applicable)

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Ability to manage a K-12 caseload across multiple campuses

• Availability for 35-37.5 hours per week through the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year

• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

• Reliable transportation for site-to-site travel
