Production Supervisor - Second Shift

Job Description

A manufacturing company is seeking a Production Supervisor to work second shift from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Responsibilities:

• Have a vast knowledge of machinery including troubleshooting issues
• Oversee all machines, employees, assignments, production, and quality in departments working second shift
• Run or assist with running equipment to ensure setups are completed in a timely manner
• Report maintenance issues daily to plant manager
• Move employees effectively to ensure productivity and e nforce employee handbook
• Move parts by operating a toe motor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have at least 5 years experience in light industry or machine tool industry
• Must have a minimum of 7 years experience in manufacturing
• Must be able to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve problems, and if outside assistance is needed
• The ability to work in a high-pressure environment while multi-tasking is mandatory
• Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret company documents
• Must have effective communication skills
