POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for overseeing and assisting with daily production operations by providing direction to production employees, monitoring the quality of work, ensuring employees are properly trained, and enforcing policies and procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and oversee production and maintenance activities to meet or exceed customer performance & Quality requirements.
• Provide clear guidance and direction to production employees, ensuring they are informed of job related matters and expectations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain consistent and compliant manufacturing processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in quality, productivity, and delivery performance.
• Address environmental, health, and safety issues promptly and consistently.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to manage employee relations matters as they arise.
• Monitor adherence to policies and procedures, providing coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed.
• Establish and manage work schedules, including interviewing and recommending new hires as required.
• Review and approve employee timecards for bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools as necessary.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide recommendations for improvement to the Operations Manager.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between departments and support functions.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, coordinating cleanups as needed.
• Attend production meetings as required.
