Elementary Classroom Aide (Counselor’s Office) Okte Elementary School 3.5 hrs/day, Mon‑Fri, 10:00am – 1:30pm Temporary through June 30, 2027 Shenendehowa Central School District has an anticipated vacancy and is now accepting applications. The District is seeking culturally proficient individuals who actively foster an engaging environment where students can develop confidence in their own success consistent with the Shenendehowa Profiles. Job Responsibilities This position supports the school counselor and students by serving in various roles, which may include assistance with the backpack program, holiday help programs, lunch groups, awards and assemblies, and student and family support to ensure timeliness and positive attendance, along with other responsibilities as needed. The actual duties are determined by the school counselor in collaboration with the building principal and may vary throughout the school year. Certifications/Qualifications Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) and experience with youth desirable.
