Delivery Specialist

Compensation and Pay Range Pay Range: $16.90 - $24.90 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation, such as annual or quarterly performance bonuses, may be paid on an hourly basis in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed; multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Duties The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers, collect money on C.O.D. deliveries, and pick up customer returns. Essential Job Functions Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily vehicle inspections before operating. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and monies collected at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips. Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Perform other duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and assisting customers when business dictates. Skills, Education, Knowledge, and Experience Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations. Valid driving record meeting the company’s 14/18‑point system. Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Familiarity with automotive parts (desired). Ability to operate light store equipment (desired). Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly desired.
