Sales Manager – Fire Equipment

Firematic is looking for an experienced Sales Manager – Fire Equipment to lead a sales team while personally driving growth across an assigned territory. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, developing people, and winning new business.
You’ll work directly with fire departments, municipalities, contractors, distributors, and industrial customers while helping your team identify opportunities, strengthen key accounts, and deliver profitable growth. What You'll Do
•    Lead & Develop: Coach, motivate, and support the sales team while setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and helping sales professionals succeed.
•    Grow the Territory: Develop and execute sales strategies, pursue new business, expand existing accounts, and personally manage customer relationships within your assigned territory.
•    Build Relationships: Develop trusted relationships with fire chiefs, municipalities, contractors, distributors, industrial customers, and other key decision-makers.
•    Win Key Opportunities: Work alongside sales representatives on major opportunities, customer presentations, product selection, pricing, negotiations, and strategic accounts.
•    Drive Performance: Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, revenue, gross profit, and overall territory performance while identifying opportunities for growth.
•    Work Across the Business: Partner with operations, service, purchasing, finance, manufacturers, and suppliers to deliver on customer commitments and provide an exceptional customer experience.
•    Stay Connected to the Market: Keep current on customer needs, industry trends, competitive activity, new products, pricing, and manufacturer programs.
•    Represent Firematic: Attend trade shows, conferences, demonstrations, and customer events while building Firematic’s presence and relationships throughout the market.

What You Bring
We're looking for a sales leader who knows how to build relationships, develop people, and grow a business. You don't need to check every box—relevant sales, leadership, and industry experience are what matter most.
•    Sales Leadership: Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing sales professionals with a focus on accountability and results.
•    Industry & Sales Experience: 5+ years of B2B sales experience. Fire service experience is highly preferred, along with experience in fire equipment, fire protection, emergency services, safety equipment, industrial equipment, or a related industry.
•    Business Growth: A track record of developing new customers, growing existing accounts, building a strong pipeline, and delivering profitable sales growth.
•    Customer & Commercial Skills: Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, negotiation, pricing, and business development skills, with an understanding of margins and profitability.
•    Hands-On & Organized: Comfortable managing a territory, engaging in major opportunities, supporting customers and sales representatives, and managing multiple priorities.
•    Education & Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant sales, leadership, and industry experience will be considered. Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel are required.
