HR Manager

I am currently recruiting for an Onsite Human Resources Manager opportunity in Lancaster, CA . This is an initial 6-month assignment with the potential to extend based on business needs and performance .

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR partner supporting onsite leadership and employees.
• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance coaching, and policy interpretation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Guide managers on performance management, corrective actions, and talent development.
• Coordinate leave administration, accommodations, and other employee programs.
• Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations to improve workforce effectiveness.
• Support organizational initiatives, employee engagement programs, and change management efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and HR generalist/manager responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, operations, or similar workforce environments is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
