Job Description:
As a Power Platform Developer , you will design, develop, configure, and support enterprise business applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio. This role requires a hands-on developer who can work closely with business and technical stakeholders to transform business requirements into scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions. You will be responsible for leading solution discovery sessions, developing custom applications and automations, implementing governance standards, and supporting the organization's digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and experience delivering enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft's low-code and AI-powered platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Power Apps solutions, including both Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.

• Create and manage automated workflows and business process automations using Power Automate.

• Design, configure, and support Power Pages solutions for internal and external-facing websites and portals.

• Develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Dataverse as the underlying data platform.

• Utilize Microsoft Copilot Studio to design and implement AI-powered conversational and business solutions.

• Lead requirements gathering sessions, discovery workshops, and stakeholder discussions to identify business needs and solution opportunities.

• Analyze business processes and map functional requirements to Power Platform capabilities.

• Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure Power Platform applications that align with business objectives.

• Create solution designs, technical documentation, and reusable implementation patterns for common business scenarios.

• Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards, governance policies, and best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Power Platform issues while collaborating with administrators and technical teams.

• Build prototypes, mockups, and proof-of-concept solutions to support project planning and stakeholder validation.

• Support application lifecycle management (ALM), deployment automation, and DevOps processes within Power Platform environments.

• Participate in Agile software development lifecycle activities, including planning, development, testing, and deployment.

• Contribute to the establishment and refinement of Power Platform governance frameworks and operational standards.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse.

• Proven experience developing both Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Applications.

• Experience designing and implementing business process automation solutions using Power Automate.

• Strong experience developing and supporting Power Pages websites and portal solutions.

• Demonstrated expertise in Power Platform customization, configuration, development, deployment, and administration.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI-powered business solutions.

• Experience leading requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder engagements.

• Ability to analyze business requirements and design effective Power Platform solutions.

• Experience creating technical documentation, solution designs, implementation guides, and architectural recommendations.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within Power Platform environments.

• Experience participating in code reviews and enforcing development standards and best practices.

• Knowledge of Power Platform governance, security, compliance, and platform management practices.

• Experience creating prototypes, mockups, and proof-of-concept solutions.

• Familiarity with Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes.

• Experience with Power Platform DevOps practices, including Power Pipelines, ALM Accelerator, or similar deployment frameworks, is preferred.

• Power Apps Developer, Power Apps Professional, or related Microsoft Power Platform certifications are highly preferred.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional business and technical teams.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
