Production Manager

What You'll Do: Manage day-to-day shop operations for the repair and assembly of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, electric motors, and related rotating equipment Meet or exceed Monthly, quarterly, and annual Repair department Revenue, Profit, and Safety targets. Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations Monitor workflow, capacity planning, and labor utilization Ensure jobs move efficiently from teardown through inspection, machining, rebuild, testing, and final QC Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions Supervise shop foremen, lead technicians, and production staff Conduct performance evaluations and coaching Enforce accountability, productivity, and workmanship standards Manage labor efficiency and productivity metrics Monitor shop costs including overtime, materials, and rework Assist in budgeting and forecasting for manpower and equipment needs Support margin improvement initiatives Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations. What You'll Need: Strong interest in and ability to build and maintain Teams and Team Work 5+ years of experience in pump, motor, or rotating equipment repair environment 3+ years of supervisory or production leadership experience Strong understanding of mechanical repair processes, motor rewinds, machining, and testing Familiarity with equipment BOMs, prints, SWIs and SOPs Willingness to enforce shop safety standards and follow OSHA regulations Strong organizational skills using MS Office, Adobe, and PowerPoint software Proficiency in ERP systems and production tracking software Prolonged standing and working in a shop environment Exposure to noise, grease, and industrial conditions Why Join OTC Industrial Technologies?
