The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services that support warehouse operations and business objectives. This role ensures cost-effective procurement practices, supplier performance management, contract compliance, and timely delivery of products and services while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement & Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, service, and delivery capabilities. Execute purchase orders and ensure compliance with company procurement policies. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier diversification.
• Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers. Conduct supplier performance reviews against established KPIs. Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, delivery delays, and invoice discrepancies. Support supplier onboarding.
• Cost Management: Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives. Analyze spending patterns and procurement data to improve purchasing decisions. Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to procurement expenditures.
• Operational Support: Coordinate procurement activities with warehouse, operations, transportation, finance, and inventory teams. Ensure materials and services are delivered according to operational requirements. Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities as necessary. Assist with risk mitigation planning for supply disruptions.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable regulations. Maintain procurement records and audit documentation. Prepare and present procurement reports, supplier metrics, and spend analyses.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain experience.

The expected base pay range for this position is $67,000.00 – $81,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
