Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Ukiah, California, United States. This travel assignment starts on 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,805 to $1,886 with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is 3x12-hour days. Setting: short-term acute care facility.

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group following the nursing process and standards of care.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and develop and implement care plans; adjust as needed.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments per orders, and respond to changes in condition.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team; supervise and direct activities of various nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Provide education to patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in safety, quality improvement, and patient education initiatives; utilize the EPIC electronic health record for care delivery.

Requirements
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or the state of practice
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience: At least two years of recent acute care experience; Med Surg experience preferred
- Computer/systems: EPIC electronic health record experience required
- Day shift availability: 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM with weekend rotation; ability to meet facility vaccination requirements and all policy-driven precautions
- Additional: Must be able to work in a fast-paced inpatient Med Surg setting and participate in a 36-hour per week schedule
