Role Overview We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our local office in Loranger. In this role, you will support client retention and account growth by managing policy servicing, processing endorsements, handling payments, and assisting with quotes for new and existing clients. Whether you are an experienced Property & Casualty producer/CSR or a motivated applicant looking to launch a career in insurance, we welcome your application. We are willing to sponsor P&C pre-licensing and examination costs for the right entry-level candidate.
Responsibilities Policy Servicing: Process policy changes, endorsements, payments, cancellations, and issue certificates of insurance or proof of coverage. Quoting & Account Setup: Gather accurate client/prospect details and run rating profiles for personal lines (auto, home, property) and commercial lines accounts. Agency System Management: Maintain precise client records and activity documentation using our agency management software (EZLynx) and comparative raters. Client & Carrier Communication: Deliver clear, friendly communication via phone, email, and in-person visits to resolve billing questions, coverage inquiries, and service needs. Underwriting Support: Assist with underwriting requests, policy reviews, and daily administrative office duties to keep operations running on schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements Licensure: Valid Louisiana Property & Casualty (P&C) license preferred. Unlicensed candidates with strong customer service and administrative experience must be willing to obtain a P&C license aft hire (pre-licensing materials provided). Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy, typing speed, and comfort navigating agency management systems and carrier portals. Office Skills: Exceptional phone etiquette, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a consistent record of punctual attendance. Language: Bilingual (English / Spanish speaking) is a strong plus, though not required. Professional References: Professional references required upon request.
