ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Stuart, Florida. Schedule Night shift - 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Job Description The Registered Nurse in the MICU will provide high-quality patient care in a critical care environment. The nurse will utilize their clinical expertise and EPIC experience to manage severely ill patients requiring intensive medical care. Responsibilities Manage and care for patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure. Oversee arterial line and central line care/management. Administer continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips. Provide care for ventilated patients and manage BiPAP/CPAP. Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and manage dysrhythmias. Maintain adherence to isolation precautions and PPE guidelines. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 18 months of MICU experience required; 2 years preferred. Current AHA or Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications. NIHSS certification required prior to the start of the assignment. EPIC experience is mandatory.
