Candidates must be able to commit to one of the available shifts.What You'll DoAs a Direct Support Professional, you'll work directly with our clients and help them live as independently as possible while providing the care and support they need.You may assist with personal care, grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting and mobility, support individualized goals and daily routines, provide positive behavioral and emotional support, administer medications, accompany clients to appointments and community activities, and provide transportation using an HGH vehicle.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GEDExperience supporting individuals with developmental, learning, or physical disabilities is preferred, but not requiredCurrent CPR/First Aid certificationValid driver's licenseAbility to provide hands-on care and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Patience, dependability, and a genuine desire to help othersAbility to complete required pre-employment screenings and trainingWhy Home of Guiding Hands?Home of Guiding Hands has been serving the San Diego community since 1967.
