Staff Nurse - Adult ED - Experienced RN- Full Time Nights

Location New York, New York Shift Night Flex (12‑hour overnight shifts). Weekend and holiday shifts required. Job Summary Staff Nurse – Experienced RN – Emergency Department – Nights at NewYork‑Presbyterian Hospital. As an ED nurse, you will independently assess patients, rapidly coordinate multidisciplinary care, and deliver high‑level emergency interventions. Responsibilities Perform rapid patient assessment and triage in the emergency department. Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary care teams, including paramedics and physicians. Utilize advanced interventions such as induced hypothermia, digital radiology, and other emergent techniques. Provide comfort and support to patients and families during critical moments. Maintain accurate patient documentation and hand‑off reports. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain). At least 1 year of nursing experience. Valid BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates. Preferred Qualifications Experience in an emergency department setting. Certifications in TNCC, CEN, ENPC, or TPEN. Compensation Salary range: $133,595‑$153,220 per year, plus benefits. Employment Conditions Full‑time position with 12‑hour overnight shifts. On‑site presence required; employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. Travel reimbursement not provided.
