Highlights Pay: $64.2353/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Morningside Department/Unit: Nursing Float Pool - STL Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift Responsibilities Conduct nursing assessments based on interview, examination, observation, and review of patient records. Ensure patient progress is reflected in progress notes and revised care plans. Develop discharge planning consistent with the patient’s status. Communicate information to patients based on their level of awareness and readiness to learn. Support orientation of new staff members and act as a preceptor and resource person. Function as a professional role model and mentor for students and volunteers. Organize provision of care to meet priority needs of patients and unit. Communicate condition of patients requiring additional intervention to leadership. Participate in the development of other staff members. Reflect collaborative efforts in meeting patient and unit needs through communication. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) with matriculation in a BSN Program acceptable Experience: 1+ year of nursing experience required Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York ACLS certification required for specific departments BCLS certification required #J-18808-Ljbffr IntelliResume
