Highlights Pay: $64.85/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: GP 6 West - MSH Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care incorporating Relationship Centered Care and the nursing process. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying barriers and opportunities for improvement. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned. Document nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives. Participate in shared decision making through nursing department committees and unit initiatives. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience: Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process.
