Highlights Pay: $64.85/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: EPS - Electrophys Studies - MSH Schedule: Full-Time, Evening shift What You’ll Do Deliver patient care through the application of the nursing process based on theory and evidence‑based practice. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary health care team to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the health care team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship‑Centered Care. Initiate service recovery for patients and family members with concerns. Practice safe and efficient patient‑centered care, identifying barriers for improvement. Document nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives. Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process.
