Highlights Pay: $55.352 - $61.8297 Hourly Location: Brooklyn, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Brooklyn Department/Unit: Emergency Department Administration - BKL Schedule: Full-Time, Evening shift What You'll Do Provide safe, competent, quality care based on nursing theory and research to Emergency Room patients. Conduct nursing assessments through interviews, examinations, observations, and record reviews. Develop goal‑oriented care plans with patient and significant others' participation. Implement nursing actions consistent with care plans and hospital procedures. Demonstrate a competent level of technical skill in professional nursing. Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating standards of care and professional practice. Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience with previous emergency and/or critical care experience in a hospital setting. Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse License and current registration in New York State; BCLS/ACLS/PALS certification required (American Heart Association); Critical thinking skills and EKG skills required.
