Highlights Pay: $85.9387 per hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: Klingenstein 3 NICU - MSH Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift What You’ll Do Deliver patient care using the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice. Assess and evaluate patient care needs while applying critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying barriers and opportunities for improvement. Document nursing practice accurately to support quality and performance improvement initiatives. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned. Contribute to the environment of care to support clinical colleagues and patients. Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) with matriculation in a BSN Program acceptable Experience 2 years of level IV NICU RN experience required Licenses & Certifications Current RN License in New York State BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required NRP Certification required #J-18808-Ljbffr IntelliResume
