Highlights Location : New York, NY Facility : Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit : Childbirth Educators - MSH Schedule : Full-Time, Night shift Pay : $64.8517/hour What You’ll Do Deliver patient care incorporating Relationship Centered Care principles. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care tenets. Initiate service recovery for patients and families with concerns. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned. Document nursing practice to support quality and performance improvement initiatives. Requirements Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience : Lactation Consultant experience required or relevant RN role supporting breastfeeding patients.
