About This Role The Staff Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit Float Pool at Mount Sinai Hospital provides safe, competent quality care to patients across various units, utilizing nursing theory and research. Highlights Pay: $71.3368/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: RN Float Pool - MSH Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care using the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care. Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills. Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Prioritize patient care aspects including teaching and planning after hospital care. Educate patients and caregivers about their care plans and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Initiate service recovery for patients and families with concerns.
